Privacy Service and Refund Terms
These terms explain how B4 delivers its services, handles personal information, and applies payments, credits, cancellations, and refunds.
Adults and Clients Under 18
B4 services are available to adults and minors. A client under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian purchase the service, manage the My B4 account, accept these terms, and submit all information and recordings on the minor's behalf. B4 does not provide a child with a separate purchasing or account-management login.
The parent or legal guardian confirms that they have authority to approve the minor's participation and to request access, correction, or deletion of the minor's information.
Information B4 Uses
B4 processes contact details, account credentials, questionnaire answers, age, height, weight, goals, training history, relevant injury and medication information, movement recordings, coach notes, payment status, reports, and annotated report images. This information can reveal sensitive details about health and physical function.
B4 uses the information only to process payment, deliver the Diagnostic, provide coaching, prepare and display reports, communicate with the client or guardian, protect accounts, maintain required business records, and respond to privacy requests.
Service providers
Hostinger provides website, database, and private file hosting. Stripe processes payment and refund information. Gmail delivers service emails. PT Distinction delivers active coaching plans, feedback, and messages. Google may receive ordinary technical request information when public pages load Google Fonts. These providers process only the information needed for their role and operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
Essential cookies
My B4 uses an essential session cookie for login security, form protection, and coach authentication. B4 does not currently use advertising cookies or behavioral advertising trackers.
Storage and Automatic Deletion
Original movement videos stored online and protected local working copies are automatically deleted no later than 30 days after upload. Video deletion is automatic and does not require a request.
Once a Diagnostic report is published, the report and its annotated report images remain available in the client's My B4 account. The client or guardian can view the report online and print it or save a PDF copy at any time. The questionnaire and personal profile are retained while the account remains active so the report keeps its context.
The client or guardian can permanently delete the Diagnostic, including the report, questionnaire, and personal profile, from My B4 at any time. If a Diagnostic is purchased but never started, or is fully refunded, the related personal information is deleted or anonymized within 30 days.
Training information held in PT Distinction follows the service and retention controls available through PT Distinction.
Order amounts, payment identifiers, refund history, consent timestamps, and records reasonably required for accounting, fraud prevention, tax, or legal obligations may be retained longer. B4 removes health information and direct identifiers from retained records when they are no longer required.
Participation and Movement Safety
Physical activity carries a risk of discomfort, strain, falls, and injury. The participant or the participant's parent or legal guardian is responsible for choosing a clear recording area, following the movement guide, using stable equipment, and stopping any movement that causes pain, dizziness, numbness, chest discomfort, or another clear symptom.
Submitting a recording or beginning coaching confirms voluntary participation and confirms that the participant has obtained medical clearance when a health condition, injury, surgery, medication, or other circumstance makes clearance appropriate.
Refund Rules
Movement Diagnostic
The $99 Movement Diagnostic can be refunded before the client or guardian selects Start Diagnostic. Selecting that control begins the service. After the Diagnostic begins, it is non-refundable even if the questionnaire or recordings are completed later.
Individualized online coaching
Refunds apply only to complete service months that have not begun. A request must be received before the final seven days of the current service month. The refundable amount is calculated by dividing the original coaching price across the service months purchased. The one-time $99 Diagnostic credit is excluded from the refundable amount.
Once the final seven days of a service month begin, B4 may already be preparing the next stage, and that upcoming month is normally non-refundable. Natural disasters, urgent health circumstances, and comparable exceptional events may be reviewed individually for a pause, schedule change, or refund.
Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method where possible. Stripe processing time and the client's financial institution determine when funds appear.
Coaching Credits Upgrades and Communication
The $99 Diagnostic credit can be used once toward the first eligible B4 coaching purchase. It cannot be reused for renewals, upgrades, or another plan.
A three-month client can upgrade to the annual service while the three-month service is active. The annual term is calculated from the original three-month start date. The $2,980 three-month plan price is deducted from the $9,800 annual price, and the upgrade payment is $6,820. After a service term ends, a new purchase is treated as a renewal at the current full price.
Coaching plans are adjusted when the current plan no longer fits the client's movement, schedule, equipment, or progress. Ordinary updates are completed by the end of the next business day. If a requested change requires B4 to record new exercise material, B4 will confirm the expected delivery time in PT Distinction.
Messages are reviewed every business day, usually once in the morning and once in the afternoon, through PT Distinction. A business day means Monday through Friday, excluding United States federal holidays. B4 limits one-to-one coaching to no more than five active clients at a time.
Service Boundary
B4 provides posture and movement screening, strength and conditioning guidance, and individualized fitness coaching. B4 does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physical therapy, rehabilitation, prescriptions, mental health services, or emergency care.
The location of tension does not by itself establish the source of a medical condition. B4 report findings describe visible movement observations and training priorities only. Seek qualified medical care for acute pain, injury, recovery after surgery, neurological symptoms, or urgent health concerns.
Access Correction Deletion and Security
Clients and parents or legal guardians may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing jerry.lu@b4performancelab.com. B4 may need to verify the account holder or guardian before acting. Deleted reports, videos, and questionnaires cannot be recovered.
B4 uses restricted accounts, private random file names, password hashing, session protection, and access controls intended to reduce unauthorized access. No Internet service can guarantee absolute security. If B4 discovers unauthorized access affecting personal information, B4 will investigate, take reasonable containment steps, and provide notices required by applicable law.
Any request to use a client's image, recording, or result as a public case study requires separate optional permission. Declining public use does not affect the Diagnostic or coaching service. The client results shown on B4's public pages are published with each client's permission.
